And my 100 yrd group I was aiming at the big black circle above and was hitting that low. I think I can fine tune this baby ittle just take some time.

that is still some good shooting. All you need is to tune the sight. I am surprised the conicals dropped that much at 100 yards. What powder charge were you shooting?

70 gr. pyro P #11 caps not happy with caps I will use musket caps for hunting. the little tip on the cap would stick to the nipple and i had to use a pick after every shot for it to fire the next.

That is a nice setup... ya gotta be proud and I guarantee you it is a shooter..

Here's mine... mine is scoped because I hunt all year with it until ML season then I switch to a sidehammer, but this year I might have a Short Range season ans be able to use it then also.... No comments on the stock I have most all of them....

I shot my white ultra mag today i had some bullshops great plains and white bullets in .460 and some shockwaves in 250gr. I am not a fan of loading the GP but they shot pretty well. The white bullets did not shoot well at all at 50 yards I was shooting about a 3" group. the bullshops shot the best about 1/2" group at 50 yrds. and 4" group at 100 yrds the shooters fault of course Im shooting with the peep sights. I could not get the rear sight high enough for elevation, so it was aguess where to hold at 100yrds. I found a front sight in my collection that will be low enough, so ill try that next time. I shot a couple weeks ago with bdeather and I was shooting a red dot scope and it was really hard to see, it was really sunny that day. the peep sight is more to my liking. I took some pics ill throw them on here tomorrow. the shock waves loaded very easy and shoot awful. I am new to this muzzle loading stuff and I took my 30/06 with a 3x9 and it felt like cheating a 100 yards, after shooting the first part of the day with peep sights.
For being new to this stuff, your getting the right gear--a White rifle and bullstops or Shockwaves. You have be watching the forum pretty well to choose that rifle as your first ML gun and those two bullets for penetration. Best wishes as you learn this sport and have fun with it.
And your right about the "cheating" with a 30-06 and a 3-9 scope. The one shot is the great equalizer, that is all you get generally.
Chap Gleason

Who the heck is "Jackson Pollock?" The elk and deer don't look at the stock - so it dosen't to be good looking just functional...

1/4" to git me up on the scope better... You know I like that Williams peep that "savagescout" has on his...

Pollock was an American abstract expressionist painter. He was famous for mixing colors in strange patterns. I was just teasing. I like the stock. I actually want to get one of them for myself.

I thought about one of those Ezz Pads for my Renegade. I like the looks of them.
