Birchwood Casey Sheath?

Is BARRICADE the same or replacement for Sheath? I haven't seen any locally for awhile and can't find Sheathlisted on the Birchwood Casey's website either.

It is...

But, just as a matter of interest if you want to check this other product out I have been using it for about a month now it is great stuff. I am using it on everthing now, loading presses, doors and all kinds of things...

Put some on a buch of tools and left them out in the rain and sun for 3-4 days - it worked great

Been using the Shealth for awhile with great results.
However saw the following at the Harrisburg show and picked up a bottle to test.

Yes, like the others said it is the same product! I searched forever for the Sheath until I realized it switched to Barricade! Good stuff!

Sheath, Barricade, Birchwood Casey, what ever you call it is really good stuff. I shot a rifle barrel today that had been in storage you might say for over a year. I swabbed the barrel first with an alcohol patch, and it was as clean and rust free as whenI applied the Sheath way back when.

The stuff Sabotloader uses does sound interesting. I just am not sure I want to change. When you have a product that works for me as well as Barricade does, (better start calling it that so I get used to the name change too) I just hate to change.

Ezzox is a great product also.

Mike, which Slip2000 product do you use? Do you buy it locally, or do you have to order it.

I totally agree,EEZOX is by far theBEST!

In head to head comparison test under the toughest conditions, EEZOX beat every single rust preventative on the market! I've used it for several years. This stuff is awesome!

BTW, before I used Eezox, I used Breakfree CLP and Sheath and wasfairly happy with the results. However, after trying Eezox, I'll never use anything else. It's that good guys, you've got to try it!!!!

well I went to the site Mike posted and there is gun lube and black powder lube. So I was not sure which one was being discussed. As for this EZZOX, where do you get that stuff?

Thanks Dixie Rebel. I see there are stores in Wisconsin that carry the stuff. If I am ever down in their area, I might have to stop in and look the stuff over. I also have a friend with a gun shop that I will tell about and see what they can find out...

cayugad

This is the stuff I am using and I really do like it... it has completly replaced my BB routine it does everything BB did and more. I really is a multipurpose lubricant...

http://www.slip2000.com/lubricant_info.html

I looked at the BP lubricant but decided this offered more long term protection, yet dissolves T7 residue, wad residue in my chokes and ML barrels... It is expensive but a little bit goes miles....

I ordered a 7 oz. spray can from here.

http://www.warrencustomoutdoor.com/pl-eezox.html#eezox

I use it for the external surfaces of my guns. Clean it off really good with the stuff. Then apply a thin coat. Itdries to the touch so it doesn't attract dust, lint or leave fingerprints like oil.

Smells good too.:)

To the best of my knowledge, it is the same stuff-they just changed the name! Why?? Just to confuse us??
