Accuracy of Cheaper inline ML where is the difference.
I’m going to look at some inline ML this weekend and probably going to wait until after season here in Ohio before I buy. Having some help from some friends I know I already want 50-cal with 26-28” barrel that can handle 150grains and use 209 primers with pyrodex pellets.I want range to be able to go out to 150yds.

What is difference between Blued vs. SS barrels?

I have been advised that I can get this accuracy and reliable performance out of sheaper 200$CVA Magbolt compared to higher end 300-500$ guns.

Where is the difference at?

I also heard there is a big problem with ML with people having too high power setups and bullets zipping right through them. Is this true?

I have a CVA hunter bolt that I got a Walmart and it shoots just as good as the $800 Knight rifles. I would (knowing what I know now) opt for the fire bolt cause the stock is filled and my hunter bolt's is not and I'll tell you this the extra weight would be a blessing with the heavier charges of powder. This thing can kick like a mule.

When you buy a more expensive rifle, you can expect better quality control, and perhaps, it is more likely that the gun will shoot (and function) as designed. It doesn't always work out that way, though!! The lower priced guns often are just as good as the pricey ones!! I have a Traditions Lightning .50 which cost little, and it is pretty good. It's accuracy is acceptable for hunting purposes, and it functions as designed.

Keep yore powder dry!!

Agree with J.D.I have a CVA Mountain Stalker sidelock($69.00).Shoots great and so far it's all I need.
