Traditions Pursuit Pro?

I handled one today with the 12ga barrel and it felt really good- balanced, light, and the stock had a nice 'soft/grippy' feel. The barrellcan be changed from .45, .50, and 12ga. Other than knowing that and handling it today and liking its feel I haven't heard much about it. I am looking for a spring turkey gun and this one might be it. Interesting in hearing more if anyone has input. Thanks.

It was $399 at Bass Pro Shops in all camo. I checked gunbrokerand didn't find one. Cabelas doesn't have them either. Does anyone have anymore places I can look online?

They may have it. You'll get a lot of responses of.. oh they are junk b;lah blah. I picked up an traditions XLT with thumbhole stock and fell in love with it. Just check the trigger pull and check it out good and if its what u want and u have the $$, go for it.

I'm not gonna state it's junk but I can tell you that you can find a better gun. I recommend researching more.

If its anything like my other Traditions guns it's one hell of a shooter. I think the Pro is heavier than the Lt model which helps in the recoil department. I too am getting an XLT in camo with thumbhole soon All my Traditions are limited (by me)to loads of 100 grains and shoot sabots in the 250 grain weight class and have been chronoed in the neighborhood of 1756 fps which has knocked out every deer I've hit. I also have a Knight TK2000 and that's my goto turkey gun hands down out to 50 yards. the best you can do is research and handle all the guns you can. I think CVA makes a similar gun as well for around the same price range you are looking that has the change out barrels, Traditions to my knowledge doesn't make a centerfire changable barrel with a muzzleloader as CVA, TC, and the soon Knight KP1. Good luck in choosing your new smokepole.

I am not too interested in changing out barrels. My wife gave me the 'go ahead' but it was reluctant:D. I am gonna start a poll with my options of turkey guns I am considering and take the advice of all on here as it is hard to find these guns in person to handle.
