. And I agree this projectile is definitely a good choice for anuses. The nice thing about Gold Dots is that, if the deer doesn't go down,one can count on being able to trust thathe missed the deer entirely. So ifonly one goes downout of three attempts, 2would haveto be misses, they would just have to be.
I figure the only way to improve the Gold Dot is a guidance system. So that, once the Gold Dot leaves the muzzle, its guidance system alters its path as need be, so that it impacts the deer right behind the shoulder or in the anus.
I notice that the anus shot isn't discussed in HuntingNet.com's URL on shot placement. They are really missing out on a good shot now that we haveGold Dots. Why don't we lobby to have that shot added to the URL? But since that kind of shot is, as you previously noted, the norm in Pennsyvania on deer drives, I suggest we call it the Pennsyvania Heart Shot.
