Lee, may have found your next varmint bullet

Much cheaper than the 245 PBs, a little faster, and I bet explosive. I think that is the biggest hollowpoint, relative to bullet size, I have ever seen on a bullet. |

I got some of them to try from Bill Davis. I shot them out of a couple different rifles. Accuracy was not the greatest, but I was really unsure how hard to push them. By the time I got to where I thought I might have a load, I ran out of the bullets. The hollow point is indeed really deep.

What loads did you try? They are light enough that they may work in a slower twist barrel pushed with a heavier load. That might workbetter thana fast twist barrel. Could be interesting to try. Could make for a bad hare day for some waskly wabbit.:) |

I was shooting them out of inline rifles with 85-100 grains. Accuracy was not terrible, I just thought it could have been better.
