About 23 here in East Tennesse this morning.I am going to ML deer hunt down at my Alabama cabin for a couple of days starting friday. Only going to take a young doe or a nice 9 pointer I have caught on a couple of camera's. I don't know about range time at 20 degrees though.

It's 18 here today and it's not getting any warmer.I wouldn't dare go out and shoot. Me shivering would throw the bullets everywhere:D

It was 23º today when I shot. Very strong wind from the south west at times. At least it was not cold. Hardly needed a jacket.. :D The rifle shot wonderful. I was testing more of the Kik 3f powder in a couple of my Knight Rifles.

I started up the snowmobile. I'd rather do that when it's cold out with snow:)

Was 5F here this morning with a wind chill of -4F. I didn't go shoot as I had to go get some test done. I plan on shooting in the morning. At least the lake on my range is froze safe enough to walk on, :DI tested it tonight when I ran the pups.

I wanted to go to the range earlier this week but it snowed Sunday am, another 3" on top of the foot or so we still have from 2 weeks ago. MondayAM was about 4 degrees, Tuesday AM was -3 and Wed. AMwas 0. Now I have to work the rest of the week through Sunday AM. The forcast saysa chance forsnow starting tomorrow sometime and lasting till Mon. or Tues. At this rate it may be spring before I can get up the hill to the shooting range.

Did I mention I live in the high desert of New Mexico. So far I've barely seen the ground in most of my yard this year. I need to move up to Cayugad's place so I can warm up.:)

David - that high desert country in New Mexico is a beautiful place to see. Many years ago, I visited a place called Gila National Forest and it was well worth the visit. Some real nice country there.

Two days ago, it was -18º in the morning but got up to 14 degrees by mid afternoon.I'm always glad to hear some place is colder and has more snow then where I live. :D
