.32 patches
I bought a crocket .32 but cant find patches for the balls. can anyone tell me what size cutter to make to punch them out myself? please help I really want to shoot it.....
thanks |
RE: .32 patches
get the ticking and cut them at the muzzle. No cutter needed and you have a perfect centered patch every time. Plus a yard of ticking, would last you for ever.

RE: .32 patches
I have never cut them that way before, Do I just push the ball flush with the end and cut?

RE: .32 patches
Lay your lube strip of cloth over the muzzle, set the ball in the muzzle center, drive that under the crown of the muzzle, take your knife and cut the cloth off flush to the muzzle, and you have a perfect centered patch. Then you just push the patched ball down the barrel.

RE: .32 patches
Thanks for your help. I shoot conicals in the rest of my guns so patches are new to me.
