It was pretty cold, about -15 but it sure had the deer moving. I was able to grunt thi guy into about 55 yds and took him head on with my Omega.
I used a 245 gr Dead Center with 100gr of T7,it dropped him in his tracks!
I've always been an archery guy but this ML hunting has got me hooked!

Great buck with any weapon, but really sweet with a muzzleloader!

WOW!!! Gorgeous 9 Point. Saw the kicker back there. Congrats. Hope you mount him, he'd look beautiful on the wall. Bet he will score nice. He's a 140 or better deer. Heckprobably closer to 150 due to his length and mass, nice G's and G'3's. If you have him scored please post the results. Again, nice buck. By the way hope you didn't lose your ramrod.

God forgot to give Michigan any deer that size when He was handing them out to every state. :D. Personally, I would of used the biggest Dead Center Precision (340 gr) makes for an animal that size. Congrats on the harvest - congrats on putting up with -15 temps to get him.Was that -15C or -15F? Your face doesn'tlook -15F in that pic....lol

This guy below looks like -15F.

Am I seeing things, or, is that fog drifting out around the big bucks mouth? Great buck, congratulations.

Very Nice Buck! Congrats. Where did he come from?

I wish everyone would put there state in their profile. I love looking at big deer and like to know what states they are from.

Alot of folks remove their ramrod while hanging-out waiting for the deer to show up. The more you shoot it with the ramrod in - the faster the slot that keeps it snug wears & loosens the grip tension.... especially in sidelocks like my Renegades. Recoil is to blame!

One heck of a buck! Great shooting. It is really awesome to hear the roar and see the smoke when they go off. Did you have far to drag him? It looks like it would take a while to get him home? He's going to look nice on the wall.

Great deer. I bet he nets 150 as an 8 pointer. Something special. Congratulations.

I looked at the pictures again and and amazed at the mass of these deer. Look at the amount of lumber embedded in the bases of both deer pictured. Both were tearing up some trees. Bet it wasan impressive scape line. The second deer is also beautiful, very heavy mass. Wish it snowed in Texas like that. That looks like fun. We got 1-3 inches in the north part of that state last week but nothing pretty like you guys hunted in.

Thanks guys
I left my rod in my blind after I reloaded and ran out to see him. It was -15F, if he had that other 4th he would net right at book. He stillgoes over 160 thou, he has a big thick 5+"frame with 27 mb and 13+ G2.

Here he is two weeks earlier, these northern bucks look so cool in their prime! I took this with a point and shoot digtal on video mode thru my spotter so it's not the best but you get the idea!

It's an omega by the way, thanks again!

that's awesome you have him on video and got him. I've got the trail cam pics of the buck I shot this year and I'll tell you what I was jacked up. You're buck is a hell of a lot bigger than mine. Wow what an awesome deer, that looks like the kind of conditions that I LOVE TO HUNT! I love hunting in the snow more than any other time. Once again a big congrats to ya. Awesome Awesome buck man!
