RE: Dad's thinking about a Muzzleloader
I tried some 385 grain Buffalo Bullet Conicals. In fact I bought a entire case of them thinking they would shoot well out of most of my .50 caliber inlines and traditional rifles. They have to be the worst shooting conical I have ever came across. I am almost to the point of next time I cast bullets I will melt them down and make them into roundball.

Particularly, I was interested in your success (or lack of) using CVA 300 buckslayers in the White. They hated my sidekick (and did well in my hawken). |

RE: Dad's thinking about a Muzzleloader
I bought 36 boxes with 20 in a box. The shipping was murder. I still have probably 30 packs without really counting them.

RE: Dad's thinking about a Muzzleloader
ORIGINAL: Sharp Shooter My dad is thinking about getting a Muzzleloader. I shoot traditionals but he want's an inline so I do not know much about them. What would you suggest for around 400 or less. Here in Colorado no scopes, sabots, pellets. I think a White would be good since they seem to shoot conicals really good. Thanks |
