this is my first year muzzleloading. i am using100 grains pyrobex pallets with 265grain knight lead hollowpionts they group good i am just woundering do they stay together well and if i should get a pass through

I also use the same powder charge as you, but I use the Knight/Barnes Red Hot 250 grain never had a deer run more then 10 yards

Pass-thrus are contingent on shot placement with most-all leaded HPs -- also thegrade & hardnessof lead. Bullet speed is another requirement. Bullets that offer a better chance for pass-thrus are copper, platinum or bonded aerotip bullets.

If you're looking fora guarantee, I would suggest buying a toaster instead....:)

while you might not get pass through, they should provide an excellent wound channel.. good luck.
