Harvester Crush Ribs and TC Cheapshot
Will the TC Cheapshots and Harvester Crush Ribs work together? The Cheapshots work great in my Winchester Apex but are hard as heck to get started.

They should work fine.. all the thinner sabot is doing is allowing you to load in a hard loading barrel. Also the Crushed Rib are able to take magnum or heavy charges if need be.

RE: Harvester Crush Ribs and TC Cheapshot
If you can find both the regular and Crushed Ribs, then buy both. Sooner or later, whatever one that's not used for the Cheapshots - will get used on some other bullet style in the future. Always good to havedifferent plastic sabotslaying around for times like this one.
Sometimes, difficult loading is not caused by sabot/bullet diameter. It's caused by not removing all the gun oils prior to shooting -- also sometimes caused by the ingredients you may be using at the range for swabbing. Use rubbing alcohol to remove oil -- then try plain Windex or alcohol for swabbing. Afterwards, try those Cheapshotswith the original bullet package sabots again. It might go down the chute easier this time. You may be getting a chemical reaction to any harsh solvents you are burning in the bore at ignition. |

I find cheapshots load easily in my CVA, provided it has a CLEAN BARREL.
