Shockeys Gold velocity???
 

I have finally found an excellent shooting load out of my thunder bolt. I was wondering about the velocity and energy of this load. I am shooting T/C sure fire 230 grain sabots ahead of shockeys 3f. I just want to know what an effective range may be. If anyone has tested somthing similar I would like to hear the results. Thanks, D.

I guess I should say Im shooting 100 grains of powder, Thanks.

Mine has a 24 in barrel and gets 1670 average with 100 gr APP FF which is same powder different screening. Lee

If the powder is fine& accuracy is good, you have a nice deer load out-to 150 yards.

Mine is the same as LEMOYNE except i am shooting 85 grn of APP and getting like 1700 fps at 125 yrds, not to bad with a 250 grn shockwave

Thanks boys, This is just the bit of confidence I need come the 18th (our opener) Hopefully I'll let you know how It does on mister whitetail.
