i agree i think you hit above the spine. shock from the bullet probably temporarly paralyzed here..shes probobably fine so long infection or swelling doesnt set in. i had a buddy shoot one one year..dropped at the shot. drug herself about 50yds. blood everywhere. looked like someone drug a deer out. he watched he stand up at the road and run off like nothing happened. blood ended and about 10 of us never found her. definently wierd.

I lost the biggest buck I ever shot a number of years ago. He ran by me chasing a doe and all I saw as he came toward me was that rocking chair rack. I found the blood trail and one place where he layed down but never found the buck. I later heard a boy found a big 10 pointer dead and wondered if this was my deer.
