Conical Test
 

I am planning a big conical test to do with some different conicals. I hope to get it done this fall but it may have to wait for spring. I will test for expansion, groups, maybe cornmeal, and anything else you think I should test. I will be shooting my T/C 54cal Renengade and using Goex. Maybe I will try with the Pro Select to. The bottom two conicals are made by a guy here in Colorado. I do not know what they are called but they look kind of like the ones in the picture. They are solid tip.

Conicals I will be testing:
425gr HP-HB Hornady Great Plains
425gr HP-HB Buffalo Conical
435gr RN-HB Buffalo Conical
425gr RN T/C Maxi-Ball
430grHP T/C Maxi-Hunter
535gr FN-SB No Excuses
515gr Conical
600gr Conical

When you shoot them big conicals with that Renegade.. don't forget your Motrin. You're going to need it. Those things should have a real stiff recoil. Although the test will be most interesting.

I am perfectly fine with the 425gr Hornady and 100gr Goex FFG. Recoil doese not bother me much. That 600gr will kick hard if I decide to test that!!!
