Is 100 grains of powder too much for a .45?
Is 100 grains of Triple 7 pellets to much powder for a 180 grain bullet in a .45? or is that sufficent

Only your rifle will be able to answer that in the accuracy department, but as for power of a load, that would make an excellent powder charge. No White tail could take a hit in the right place from that and get too far..
If two pellets is accurate, then use that. Good luck with your rifle. |

I just looked in Traditions website.They show 150 gr,130 gr,of propellent with 180 and 200 gr bullets.It will be traveling about 2300 fps at the muzzle and around 1600 at 150 yds.with enough energy to drop most animals.about 1100 ft lbs of energy.Good luck.
