Powerbelts

Has anyone ever measured (mic) a .50 cal powerbelt?

RE: Powerbelts

Mine are the original version Powerbelts.

My 245 copper HPs miked at .498

My 405 leaded HPs miked at .497

I'm guessing both have a born-on date of 2003 -- a time frame when Powerbelt Inc offered two package diameters... I think green-colored for the original Belts - then red-colored for "All ML Bores".

All you can do is try them with the tools you have. Most go down the bore relatively easy with regular swabbing & no crud ring issues.

i've been shooting these and without any fancy tools..
just like Triple Se7en stated they're easy to load..

my fancy starter is my thumb and i use my ram rod, that
came with rifle. thus far they just slide right down and with no bullet tip
injury.. hardley any force at all, maybe index finger worth..
