How many guys here carry a possible bag while hunting? Or do you just carry a backpack?

Actually I carry my Possibles Bag in my Backpack and keep 3 Speed loaders readily accessible.I keep two spare primer caps close also just in case I were to drop one.

It seems that it is a futile effort on my part, I amvery picky about shot window and placement I have not neededthe second shot yet. (Knocks on wood.)

I am at work atm so I will try to remember from memory, so forgive me but I am sure I will forget something...

My Possibles bag handles the things I may need for my gun to continue hunting. Spare Breech Plug, an extra roll of Teflon Tape, Breech Plug Wrench, spare Sabot loading Jag, cleaning Jag and several patches (some predampened with cleaning solution), mini Bore light, Allen wrenches to fit scope/rings/etc,Power Handle for the Ramrod, and a small toothbrush. All packed so that it won't rattle or make any noise. I use unscented White Toilet Paper for this, that stuff comes in handy for an emergency in the woods.

The toilet paper in my Possibles bag is for a true emergency, I always have some packed elsewhere also.

My possibles bag is a small toolbox which has everything required to tear down and repair or swap (ie: breech, nipple, etc), stays in my truck. I carry with speed loader, short starter, capper, de-capper, primer pocket/nipple pic, dry patches, electical tape (waterproofing the barrel), primer tool, scope lens cloth, allen wrench(s) and leatherman.

Depends...When I carry my .40 caliber flintlock or my .54 caliber I carry the possible bag for them....

When I carry my Knight Disc, I carry extra stuff in my Primos Bow vest...

I carry a possibles bag and it includes: cleaning kit and tools, 5 speed loaders all made up, powder in a brass container, extra lead, primers (lots of these), TP, water (500 ml), snacks in the form of cerial bars and trail mix, small candle, tea bags, small rope, sharpener system, matches, small flashlight, spare compass, tags, bandages, a small hatchet attached to the outside back of it and a few other little knick knacks.

I grew up hunting in Sask between Battleford and Meadowlake and when I was 14 I spent part of a Novembernight out in the bush. Thanks to dad ensuring that we carried extra food and tea bags I had a shealter up and on my second/third cup of tea when I heard dad and a friend honking a horn. I ended up being only a 100 yrds from the road (Bernice Lake trail). That is a moose hunt I will never forget now that dad is passed on! Ever since I try to be prepared.

I got this bag I use fromA Surplus Store in St Edoouard, Alberta- Blair's Surplus.
