New England Firearms Sidekick Rifles

I would like to hear if anyone has owned this muzzleloader and how it performs? Which gun would you buy, the Sidekick or a CVA Kodiak?
Thanks

NEF all the way. Price, simplicity. I have hade most brands of in-lines, none shot better many were more expensive.

Sorry, I did not anwer your question. I own one topped with a nikon buckmaster, shooting Barnes 245 boat tails and 150gr Pyrodex pellets. I hold consistent 2.5" or less groups at 100yrds.

Sidekick!

It's American-made and sports a wood stock. :)

You can add barrels to the Huntsman but not the Sidekick. Slightly different action dimensions that keep the Sidekick strickly a muzzleloader. You don't have to deal with the firearm rules with the Sidekick but do with the huntsman. They both should shoot the same as the barrels are the same except for the mountingboss.
