I don't think anyone will dislike you because of the shooting you do we all do it for our own reasons:D:D

That being said like I posted earlier but unitelligable is I think a clean bore is more accurate than one with lube smeared in it. In fact it is only a few people I have read on the ml boards that swab their bores with lube before loading.
i wonder if anyonemade test,DRY BORE VRS A LUBED BORE onroundball/patch shooting?

I dry excress lube out of a bore before I load, but on occasion have forgotten to do that and haven'tnoticed any difference.

Now, to put that statement in perspective...I'm not a 'bullseye' shooter who measures group size with a micrometer...so there very well might be a difference that I simply don't see because I do 99% of my weekend shooting sitting in a chair to simulate sitting in a tree stand and keep things in a2-3" group at 50yds doing that...with or without borebutter residue in the bore, I never haveanything that goesoutside that group, so to me, I say I see no difference
