philnie, I think somewhere you asked about the Ultra Mag's weight. I weighed mine last night after installing the peep sight and removing the ramp sight. Mine has the composite stock and was exactly 8 lbs. Based on that, Iassume the ones with laminated stocks are between 8 1/2 to 9 lbs.

I really don't think the laminated stocks are much heavier than the composites. Someone please weigh a laminated and post, I don't have one.

The laminate stock is supposed to weight 0.75lbs heavier than the composite - I don't know for sure though because I forgot to weigh my ML last night. Note to self, getting old and need to write these things down! :) Will weigh it tonight for sure.
