Default New White Ready to Go

Well my new White Ultra Mag is ready to go to the range this afternoon. The scope is a Bushnell Trophy 3-9x40 with Warne QD rings.
Thanks to cayugad, sabotloader and underclocked for getting me interested in the White. I believe it will be the last muzzleloader I ever buy (and my wife hopes so, too)

Good luck at the range. That's a fine looking rifle you have there. I am sure it will shoot fine. Keep us posted on loads and such. As for the wife, well she must be all right in my book, if she lets you have a White Rifle like that. She's a keeper... the wife too.

Nice setup! That silver looks like it would draw alot of sun glare in the woods.

Not much eye relief with that Trophy scope & that rifle doesfavor heavy conicals. Your pic looks like it is pushed forward as far as the scope will go..... turret right up against the front ring... plus all the way forward on the base.

BEWARE!

You know - that's a really lousy picture from my really cheeep camera. It doesn't really shine that much. Everything is low glare - actually less than a standard blued barrel and scope.
Thanks for the warning, T7 - I have ordered some modified bases that will give me another 1/4" - 1/2" of forward adjustment, plus another 1" or so between the bases for better support.
Can't wait to shoot it, but things aren't working out. Saturday the range was closed to the public, and now it's supposed to rain on my next day off.

Congrats on a fine setup!

With respect to the last ML you will ever buy... we won't hold your feet to the fire if you happen to buy just one more, or two, or three...
