Spin Jag

How do you all like the spin jag? I put my regular jag on my aluminum rod when cleaning and I had to soak it in hot water and use pliers to get it off. I have been thinking about this spin jag.

Here is a link... do you use it to clean with patches and to load? That is cool.

SS, I personally dont have one, but three of the guys I shoot with do. They all talk them up pretty well so I will probably be picking one up soon. Last week when I was at Cabela's if I'd have thought of it I would have gotten one then, but I was carried away looking at all the nice things there.

Yep, does all the stuff mention above. You should not be dissapointed. Makes all my loading much easier and my cleaning much cleaner. Great jag.

Boy that spin jag really has me intrigued. I might have to pick myself up one. I wonder if a range rod with a spinning handle would have the same effect as the spin jag?

I have both, well actually 4 range rods - one of them has a spin handle and it works well but I prefer the spin jag at the range because so often I grap the rod rather than the handle. I use the rod as the short starter also - so for me the spin jag works better...

Just my 2 cents....

Spin Jag works great for me for both cleaning and loading. Get one, you won't be sorry.

Anyone use this one in an 50 cal.Omega? I got a "spinning" jagformy Omega (not the brand this thread is about), and it is very tight, especially between shots. Much tighter than my original jag.

I am using the "spin jag" with my Omega + all the other 50's that I shoot, BUT my Omega is not as tight as some others...

Great product and great company in terms of CS. I just calledGunn this weekand placed an order for the shooting clan up here.I have the original but ordered in some of the loader type this time to try as well.

BTW if you order 4 you get a break and 5 plus you get a little more of a break. To canada with volume they charge a small postage fee (I mean really 2.00 is small to me). However not sure if they do for US customers. In any regards if your thinking about buying and have some buds interested give them a call. The price on their site includes s&h to your door for 1-3 qty orders (that also includes us canucks).

Like I said great to deal with, wish more were so eager to please...big thumbs up to GUNN.
