Default Spin Jag

How do you all like the spin jag? I put my regular jag on my aluminum rod when cleaning and I had to soak it in hot water and use pliers to get it off. I have been thinking about this spin jag.

Here is a link... do you use it to clean with patches and to load? That is cool.

SS, I personally dont have one, but three of the guys I shoot with do. They all talk them up pretty well so I will probably be picking one up soon. Last week when I was at Cabela's if I'd have thought of it I would have gotten one then, but I was carried away looking at all the nice things there.

Yep, does all the stuff mention above. You should not be dissapointed. Makes all my loading much easier and my cleaning much cleaner. Great jag.

Boy that spin jag really has me intrigued. I might have to pick myself up one. I wonder if a range rod with a spinning handle would have the same effect as the spin jag?

I have both, well actually 4 range rods - one of them has a spin handle and it works well but I prefer the spin jag at the range because so often I grap the rod rather than the handle. I use the rod as the short starter also - so for me the spin jag works better...

Just my 2 cents....

Spin Jag works great for me for both cleaning and loading. Get one, you won't be sorry.

I've read about them, I think I'll be ordering
one real soon.

Anyone use this one in an 50 cal.Omega? I got a "spinning" jagformy Omega (not the brand this thread is about), and it is very tight, especially between shots. Much tighter than my original jag.
