round#3
Dead center bullets arrived and I decided to try them out today. DC240gr. with 110gr triple7. We started at 200 meters (218yds.)and we were about 11" low. Movedback to 200 yds. and changed load to 105gr. triple7. Wind was out of the NW 15-20mph. It was suggested that I try the 105 gr charge and it does seem to work better. I am not really impressed by this DC240 gr. bullet @ $11.99 per dz. Maybe with a little less wind they maybe ok. We were shooting with mostly a headwind, sometimes crossing. I beginning to think shockwaves @ $17.00 per 30 maybe the way to go.Think I will move back to the 100 yd.range and run Shocks to DC's head to head.TARGET -High towards the center was aimed 2.5 " above target- Low left aimed at top of target paper - mid right (on paper) aimed about 1" above paper of target.

RE: round#3
Perhaps its just my Omega or me but I had to shoot light loads to get the DC's to group. And I for one did not go to inlines to piddle around with light loads. I have had that experance with other pure lead bullets to. Lee

RE: round#3
I agree that's not why I went with an Omega, but 105 grs. seemed to push these things better than 110gr. They were dropping about a foot at 218yds. Bullet to light??

RE: round#3
You must of been using a scope,I wouldn't of even been able to see the target at 200 yds. let alone the bull. LOL.
