RE: Black Mag 3
When I shoot Black Mag'3 I rarely notice the smoke. It is apparently there but not heavy enough for me to see in my scope.

RE: Black Mag 3
I still haven't used it. But I want too. I'm just trying to find a vendor I can pick it up somewhatlocally from so I don't have to pay hazmat fees. In terms of cost, I think it would depend on what you are trying achieve. I think if one uses sufficient powder to attain the velocity he once achieved with BP or other substitute, then the cost is not as prohibitive. If one is using a max charge of BP, pyrodex, or T7, one can attain higher velocity with a smallercharge by volume withlower pressure.Having not yet used BM3, I havea senseafter the chrono reports of Roskoe on JSG 3F whether JSG 3f, APP 3f, and Pinnacle 3farea better value.Provided they produce muzzle energies in excess of67% for equal weights of BM3, theywould be moreaffordable on a cost per unit muzzle energy basis.

Using the price I pay for 777 vs BM3,110gr 777 vs 90gr Bm3.It still costs me $.06 per shot more with BM3.
