Well I Did It!!!
Well I did it!!!! I bought myself a muzzleloader from a friend of mine that I work with. Its a Traditions 50 cal. Tracker 209 with a blued barrel and black synthetic stock. Features a 209 shotgun primer ignition, 150 grain magnum powder charge and Lite Optic adjustable sights. This gun normally sells for about $140.00 alone, and $184.00 in the ready pack. I got the entire pack for $85.00 with an extra bolt, all the tools needed for break down, scope mountand rings. I have been wanting to purchase a muzzle loader for many yearsbut I didnt want to spend too much on my first one. Im sure I will love this gun,I have shot other muzzle loaders and loved shooting them. And heres the kicker....my wife wasnt mad!!:DShe likes it, because its all black.

RE: Well I Did It!!!
I have several Traditions models and have always been happy wth them . My favorite is one my wife bought for me 7 years ago , a Buck Hunter Pro in .54 caliber , it's very similar to yours but won't take magnum loads . It still shoots like a dream , is very easy to maintain , and just one hell of a lot of fun to shoot . Enjoy your Tracker and congrats on the good deal you got ! :)

Congratulations on your new rifle. I am sure you will really enjoy muzzle loading. I tried it years ago and all my center fire rifles have been pretty lonely since.

I have a couple of TraditionsLightnings, a .45 & a .50, and think they are OK, if one just has to use an inline!!
