RE: Bolt in a Rem.700ML
Bow-4-It Just hook the sear on something that has an edge on it and pull on the front of the bolt, and a little groove will show in the back of the bolt. I just use a dime and stick in the groove and let the presure off the bolt. Now the back end will Just unscrew and your firing pin will come out. Very important do do in cold weather,or it would not hit the cap hard enough to set it off. Use something like WD-40 to lube with, not gun oil.

My owners manual decsribes it in the cleaning section. Remington also says to use only "Rem oil" for your information.
