What is your favorite load?
 

I think this has been posted before but people are finding new loads and we have new people here. So what is your favorite load and what rifle are you shooting? I have not shot my rifle yet but I hope to get 85gr-95gr of Goex and a 310gr round noseBuffalo Ball-etshooting good out of my rifle with Dynamite Knobel #11 percussion caps. I have a TC original Renegade 26" barrel with a 1-48" twist.

i have t/c hawkins flintlock .50 cal.1-48 twist. i use 80grs of 2f goex ,370 gr MAXI-BALL not MAXI-HUNTER for whitetail deer here in pa.no kick and most shots are under 100 yards and great groups .i get MAXI-BALLS for 6 dollars for 20 unlubed. i am going to shoot roundballs againfor practice but hunting it will be the maxi-ball 370 or powerbelt 295 with about same powder 80 grs or 90 grs.only my advice from shooting, no expert. longer bullets shoot better out of the 1-48.MAXI-HUNTERS are short and dont shoot well out of MY gun. MAXI-BALLS are longer and shoot great.take care
