Savage ML 10 II
Just purchase my new savage smokeless smoke pole.
Went smokeless b/c they have the best ballistics hands down and you cant killem too dead
I am interested in some feedback from other savage shooters and the loads that you prefer to shoot in your ML 10.
Also need info on how you organize, premeasure, and procedures you use at the range to make shooting fun and effective.

It's the Modern Muzzleloader Forum. Go to the "Smokless Muzzleloading" section and I'm sure you will find more info than you can use. Good luck and keep us posted on your results.

Just checked out that site, great site for the savage.Reconized a lot of handles that are on http://dougva.proboards34.com/index.cgisome very good info on both boards.
I have only used the savage for the last 2 years for hunting but have had a savage since they came out took 7 deer with it the last 2 years.carried it off and on 3and 4 years back but never saw a deer when carrying it but killed deer then when carrying my ruger or encore or knight. Now carry the savage all the time.
Have been shooting them at the range since I got the first one ML10,bought 2 of the ML11 and love both of them.
Went to the range last wed to check out some speeds with different powders but my pact chrony quit working,so I just shot 2 groups @300 yds.One was to unload because it had been loaded since hunting season, got lucky shot at a 2 inch dot and bullet hit allmost center, was so excited I loaded up another and shot, couldn't find where i hit with spotting scopes, when my shooting buddy and I went to get the target we found out why we couldn't find where it hit,it was in the same hole.Bet I couldn't do that again in 100 years.
The second group was with 250 xtp using havester sabots to see how they worked.will try more of them when I get the chrony working.
