NEF Huntsman 50 cal. loads
 

Any advise on what bullets and charge to use. I have a bunch of T7 powder, so I would like to stick with that to use it up. I also have 348gr. hollow point power belts along with 248gr. hollow point powerbelts.

i shoot 100 gr.of 777 in pellets,i shoot a 300gr cva deerslayer lead bullets. shoot great!!
took my 3rd buck in 3 years last friday, i really like that little gun,good luck with yours.

What kind of groups did you get with that setup? Did you ever have trouble with the gun closing AND locking after about 20 shots? I was swabbing the barrel, but alot of crud built up on the firing pin face and the breech plug/barrel rim and wouldn't allow the gun to lock closed.

i get about 2-3 in groups at 75 yards, and that is on a shaky rest,as that is where i site mine in at, as i usally don`t shoot much farther than that, this is the load i used on my old muzzy, and when belive it or not, on the first shot with open sites,i hit the bull, and i though i missed the target, as i dodn`t see the hole.lol
only trouble i have had i one time when i shot my first buck with it, it opened on the shot, i thought i might have hit the button but not sure, hasn`t done it sense.
i have read alot about 777 leaving crud,i shoot 777pellets do`nt really have any prolbems, but i don`t shoot alot between cleaning..
