CVA Hunterbolt Load with Powerbelt Bullets

Just picked up a CVA Hunterbolt and will be using 295gr. hollow point powerbelt bullets. I will be using loose 3F Goex Black powder, and would like to know about what amount of 3F I should start out with? Does anyone else have this set up and how is it working out for you? Should I maybe go to the 245gr hollow points?

I THINK YOU SHOULD BE USING 2F IN THAT CAL. BUT 3F CAN BE USED WITH A REDUCE LOAD AT ABOUT 10%.A MAX CHARGE AROUND 100 GRAIN WOULD BE O.K. MYSELF I REALLY DON'T CARE FOR THE POWERBELTS HAVE TRIED THEM IN MY 50 C.V.A. @ 54 CAL T/C ALLWAYS WILL PICK UP A FLYER IN A 3 @ 4 SHOT GROUPE.COULD BE MY M/L LOADER IF FUNNY WHEN IT COMES TO POWERBELT. THE BULLET THAT WORKS FOR ME ARE PERCISION SABOT 40 CAL QT IN 235 GRAIN @ 330 FLAT NOSE MADE BY HARVESTER SABOT IN MY 54 CAL. HEY TRY POWERBELT YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOOS IT MAY SHOOT GREAT FOR YOU.CHECK OUT THE PERCISION WEB PAGEhttp://www.prbullet.com/

What are the last 2 numbers in your Hunterbolt SN? If they end with 96 or 97 there is a recall on the barrel. I will check both of mine when I get to the cabin this weekend. I shoot the PB's 295 HP with 100 gr of cleanshot behind and have tremendous success with them. I recovered some from a box filled with screened sand and the expansion was unbelievable. The largest dia was 1 1/8" an the smallest was 7/8" retained about 80% of the weight as well. I would hate to be a deer in front of one of these bullets. Let us know if you CVA hunterbolt is in the recall, if so chances mine are as well

Not in the recall, my serial number ends with "02"
Took it completely apart, degreased it, cleaned it, light oiled it. Now I just need to take it out this week sometime and shoot it.
