Knight DISC ammo
I just purchased a Knight 50 cal Disc rifle. I want to find out what load and bullet will offer the most accurate and more importantly longest shot. I don't think a smaller bullet will hurt "takedown" potential but I'm not sure. Any ideas from those who have done this.

RE: Knight DISC ammo
Look at the ballistics that they send you with your new gun. Their research is pretty accurate. For the longrange shot I like the Barnes MZ 220gr. with 150gr of powder.

RE: Knight DISC ammo
My .50 cal. Knight Disc shoots superbly with a 295 gr. Copper Clad CVA Powerbelt bullet powered by 2 50-gr. Pyrodex pellets, and a 209 CCI shotshell primer. I often have bullets cutting the same hole at 100 yds. with this load. I have used this load on 4 whitetail deer and 1 Russian boar and all were quick 1-shot kills. I have heard from other Knight rifle owners that they have had similar results with this load in their Knight rifles. Hope this helps you out.
