What bullets to use

I have been tolled to use Powerbelt bullets in my CVA Hunterbolt 50 caliber muzzleloader. Does any one know if they are good bullets to use or not and if so why?

Most of the time they shoot real well out of BPI products. They also shoot good out of other rifles. Keep the powder charges around 100 grains and they should do everything you need them to do. Their big draw back is their cost. I just hate paying that much for a bullet.

My CVA Optima Pro shoots 245 Powerbelts well with 2 - 50 gr pyrodex pellets.

Actually my CVA Staghorn Magnum with 100 grains of Goex and a 245 gain Aerotip or the 348 grain pure lead hollow point Powerbelt will do very impressive shooting. For some reason I never could get the 295 grain to shoot well....
