Need a good 'SLING' for my ML!

This may sound lameto many but I want a good sling for my ML. Not talking about some custom designed sling that cost $200 either. Just a good practical sling that is comfortable, stays adjusted, and well made to last. There aremany listed inCabelas andBassPro but they areimpossible to judge from a picture. I have a coupleleather slings on other rifles but they never seem to stay adjusted.Sometimes the simplest things are the hardest to find. Any suggestions????

Encore50,
You said"they never seem to stay adjusted" or did you mean that they never stay on your shoulder? That's always been my problem, but there are simple ways to solve that problem, just by sewing a buttonon your shoulder to hold the strap in place.

I bought a Knight Disc rifle that came with a nice nylon sling with an adjustment belt on it. Nice and strong, light weight and looks real secure. I have not really paid a lot of attention to it just yet, but that might be a solution. Otherwise I always went with the leather belt military ones with the hooks instead of the belt sliding holders. They seem to work well.

Cayugad,
Have you seen the Knight sling with the Knight logo on it? It's sharp....I hope to buy one someday.

Yes, I watched a Shocky hunting video and he had one of them slings on his .52 caliber Disc Elite. It was a pretty nice looking sling. The one on my Disc is nothing fancy, but it does look nice and stable. I will just set it to me and then switch it from rifle to rifle...

I really like the Claw slings. They are real good about not slipping off your shoulder when carrying. Not much for using the sling as a shooting aid, but that's why I carry the Safari Stix.

I have an "Uncle Mike's" sling on my Knight. Straight black, about 1 1/2" wide. Never slips from where it is set and I paid a grand total of 19.95 for it.

I bought Uncle Mike's black Ultra Sling for my Omega. I'm really happy with it; the non-slip material on the back of the sling does a good job of keeping it in place.

Here's another vote for an Uncle Mike's sling. They are fairly plain and simple, but do the job. And... they don't slip :)
