Awhile back, I took one my .50 cal. muzzleloaders out of the cabinet that I thought was squeaky clean - took a 28 guage brass shotgun brush and dipped it in Butch's Bore Shine - gave it ten passes up and down the barrel. Then somepatches wet with Butch's Bore Shine. The frist fewpatches came out pure BLACK. Amazing.

I guess the only thing keeping my barrels from rusting/corroding in the cabinet was the coating of Break Free I put in there before storage.

I've heard good things about break free and actually bought some, but after the first use it gave me a whopper of a headache so i havent used it since. Ichecked walmart earlier but they didnt have the B/C sheath
