RE: What Anti-Seize do you use on Breech Plug?

Raktrakr... that's a nickel based anti-seize...

Back when I used to be heavily into turbo'd cars... we had 4 bolts that held the turbo to the manifold.. and they would get to over 1600 degrees F. Very notorious for seizing.. I'm talking all the PB Blaster, 3' 1/2" breaker bar, ect wouldn't help... you'd twist the 3/4" bolt in 1/2 on occasion. The nickel stuff would still seize up on occasion also.. and we had alotbetter luck w/ the copper anti-seize from NAPA.. wonder how this stuff would work in this application?

Plumber grade teflon tape (pink) with any of the ML breech plugor other anti seize greasehas worked well in a pinch. AKA when I couldn't get any CVA breech/nipple grease. However the CVA I just coat it on the thread by itself, finger tighten and check it every 10 shots or so...never had a stuck breech.

That was using 777 & Pyrodexloose powder charges BTW.
