I have had , four 303"s ,carried one of those between Texas and Alaska
working as a guide and packer, never lost one animal
have shot everything from small game like coyotes to a cow moose,
would not hesitate any thing to brown bear.

RE: British 303
Thanks for all the info and confidence in using the 303 for a hunting rifle. I appreciate all the expert opinions from everyone here due to my big game hunting experiences is very… very little. I’ve only hunted whitetail deer.
I have this past hunting season had the opportunity to shoot a whitetail worth stuffing and proudly hanging on the wall.
(150’s class with 25” width)
My FIRST trophy and now I want to try to get even tastier meet to have in the freezer like Elk.
Only problem is the wife says we have no wall space to have an Elk trophy hanging and would need a new home. Bad part is she is right.
Thanks again,
JagerMister
