I will be putting in for zone 7 tag this year for the first time. I am hoping for a chance at a decent buck without running into too many other hunters. Any of you have any advice on where to go. thanks for your help.

Zone 7 has alot of BLM land, so finding a place to hunt isn't to tough. I hunted there the first week in Nov last year and the antelope were very skittish. Just slowing the truck down would send them taking off. My brother was able to sneak up on a herd and tag a doe, but he had to belly crawl for about 300 yards to get close enough. It was alot of fun to watch. Good luck!

We hunted the 700 zone the first week of the season last October and had an absolute blast, saw alot of animals. Start looking into BLM land or Block Management land, you can't go wrong.
BTW, we park the trucks in the morning and hike in, I'm not much on doing most of my hunting from a vehicle. If we didn't see anything in the first hour of our hike, we headed back to the truck and went to a new area, it worked great, you'll have a great time!
