RE: Some photo from other world....

Bears are very aggressive.
People are included into their diet.
This bear will not eat more :)

Nice bruin! The pics don't do the animal justice IMO. His paws make him look like he should square better then 7 ft.

Was this bear bagged in Russia?

Sasha_from_RF 03-11-2005 03:39 AM

RE: Photos of small bears

I agree with you. It not my trophy. Yes this bear was bagged in Russia.
The same area of hunting for deers. Only 100 kms to the north.

Sasha, Those are some great pics. I also have seen your deer pics.

Can you explain some of the rules for hunting in Russia and how you go about hunting.

I would be interested to know how your system works???

Bill

RE: Photos of small bears

Thank.
Rules simple.
Hunting for a bird has two seasons. Spring and an autumn.
The blackcock, duck the goose, and is a lot of that to not translate to English.
The big animal an autumn and winter. Deer, lamb, wild boar and bear.
Furs. A sable, the fox, hare, wolf, raccoon, beaver differently.
Russia enormous. A lot of different game.
It is necessary to pay the tax for the right of hunting. About 5 $ - a bird
10-20 $ the big animal. It in public open spaces. For 1 year/
For hunting still it is necessary to get the region permit.
The prices small. A blackcock a duck approximately 20 $ on a season.
The permit on the lamb approximately 500 $ a bear 1000 $
Wild boar - 100 - 400 $
In public open spaces local hunters frequently hunt without sanctions.
In other words free-of-charge.
In private or rented a payment under the arrangement.
Actually Russia not such as about it at us write and show.
We have all and greenpis too.....
It is easier to me to reply, which interest.

Hi Sash,
Is that really $500 and $1000 American dollars????
How much do you pay for private land hunting?

This is very interesting to me . I will never have the money to go to Russia and hunt. Also I can't believe that I can talk to someone on the other side of the world about hunting!!!

Bill

Dear Bill.
All flows all changes
What here strange?
Private land hunting + 20 % approximately.
Russia becomes the open country.
Much has changed. The consciousness at people varies more slowly.
About the prices. It is real. If Russian will pay for hunting more at him will look as on the patient.
Yesterday at the spouse birthday was.
Why everyone think, what in Russia drink vodka?
I love one-malt Scottish whisky and tequila.

RE: Photos of small bears

I enjoy a good single malt as well.
Do you have any hopes of coming to the U.S and hunting one day???

Do alot of Russians hunt and how are the laws on guns???

Sorry so many questions.........Just very interesting!!!

Good will to you and your family!!!

Sasha_from_RF 03-16-2005 02:13 AM

RE: Photos of small bears

Laws on guns do not so differ.
It is impossible to get a gun from a cover in public places.
It is impossible to shoot in settlements and vicinities of 300 meters.
It is impossible to use guns except for the purposes of hunting.
Under our law it is impossible to transfer a gun in hands to other hunter for shooting.
But anybody is real was not arrested yet for it.
For temporary importation of a gun the paper sanction is given out to the hunter.
For its registration the calibre. mark and factory number is necessary.
Quantity of imported cartridges. One month prior to arrival. Other difficulties are not present.
Do alot of Russians hunt - it is not clear to me. Whether they will be prevented? I answer. Will not be.
Do you have any hopes of coming to the U.S and hunting one day??? For the normal organization of hunting of hunters no more than 2-3 person.
Accompanying persons without restrictions. In U.S. I do not have friends and I did not organize hunting.
