Yes,He shot in the Breaks,but you know how big the breaks are.Wich side of the river,wich river.Was it on the CMR or was it on private or how about a outfitter.The breaks are a busy place come bow season,I'm not saying there are not great elk in that place but come on the odds down there is about 1/200 pepole if your lucky.

If you don't belive me ask hillbilly,he had arifle tag down there this year ask him how many shots he had.

Don't get me wrong, I saw bulls and herds every day when I was there, but seeing them and getting them are two different things. I could of shot two different cows (17 and 20 yrds) but having seen the bulls that I saw, I didn't want no dang cow. The bulls would not respond to any calls due to them being bumped from everyone from california to Canada. Sept. 25 during the full moon I had a herd of elk near my truck bugling there heads off at night and they were so close I could hear them cloaking and snot running out of the bulls noses, they actually kept me up most of the night. Man it makes my hair stand on end. ;) Bobby
