Booked My Hunt & Want Some Input
After months of research I finally sent the deposit to an outfitter in Alberta (Jasper National Forest) for my Father & my first Elk hunt. We will be there the last week of September 2005 & the Elk should be in Rut. Anyone ever been to Alberta hunting Elk or have any recommendations?

Have not hunted but have many friends in Alberta/ BC
Been to and through Jasper several times and have seen some monster Elk. One was on the highway one time I was going to the Yukon. I about wrecked. Tallest Elk I have ever seen.
I know that doesn't help. But they do have some big Elkies up there ..EH!!!!!!
