I dont know the outfitter but I dont hunt to far from there. The area has alot of elk matter of fact its the highest elk popolation in the lower 48 so its a good place to start I hunt just out side Yampa Co. thats to the east of there you should'nt have a problem finding elk. I see your from IL. make sure you work out and get in good shape it could make or break your hunt us flatlanders need all the help we can get .

email me, i will not give you my exact hunting area and i will not put the info on the board, but i can give you some pointers. i have hunted this area a few times with guys who have hunted it many years.

you don't need an outfiter. you do need to be in shape, climbing 500 vertical feet will kick your butt at 8500 feet even if you can run a 10k in illinois.

Good hunt, JML OUTFITTERS furnished drop camps for me and three fellow hunters three years back to back.1st gun on one hunt , 2nd gun on the other two hunts. I bagged a nice 5*5 bull, They supplyed good camps ,access to water and a professional assitance with the kills. I have plans to book hunts in the future with JML . We have the highest regaurds for JML outfitters! If you go tell Marie and the hands that I said hello! and ask about Trophy park!
