Drinks, I don't much care one way or another, about the largest I ever saw was in the neighborhood of 600 lbs. He lived in a barnyard near my home. Did they examine the pictures of the hog in the front end loader as well, or just the one hanging over the pit?

Just got through watching the outdoor life channel on cable.
some guy killed a 724lb. boar. Hog was shot at Bienvill Plantation
in Fl. I would have to agree that this "BIG PIG" was without a
doubt very big game.

dk.......In FL. ferels are game on WMA's only! You can hunt them all year long off WMA's..
You would't consider a 75 or 85 ferel as a big big game animal, would you?
Ferels,Razor Backs or Russians are not native to the US.In most States there's no season
and no bag limits.Are you wanting to know what calibur to use?Here they are not listed
as small or big game on the REG's..just need a $25 WMA stamp on your license in deer
season.

Its kind of easy to tell the difference the boars are brown with black vertical stripes, called bars.
There is no such thing as a true russian boar, most of the the "russians" in the states are hybrids.
A feral hog will revert back towards looking like his wilder cousin the eur-asian boar, but you can still tell the difference

Actually, in FL ferals are considered property not game, although you on most WMAs they are considered big game in that you can only hunt them during deer season, but then again, there are a couple of WMAs where they are considered small game.
I consider them to be big game... you aint usin your BB gun to gitcha on o dem!!

I'm from FL too. Have been in many confrontations with Pepole in Perry FL about
that. If I am on WMA and you come and tell me those hogs I have on the truck
belong to your grandfather.....quess what?....lock&load..Bubba!!!
Now if they are OFF the WMA...then I am trespassing and I would have to respect that!
If they are on my property they are my property...and your grandfather has no more hogs.
So it's how you want to define PROPERTY!
Buy the way...the biggest hog I have killed was in 1965 on private property in Lake Wales.
