If you can throw it on your shoulders and carry it out it ain;t big game, if it takes a few trips to get it out, then its big game. ;) Bobby

One thing about it-big or small they are one of the toughest animals you will encounter & sometimes they just may show you who is boss. They are a great animal to Bowhunt no mastter what the state or DNR classifies them.
I am headed south to hunt them in a little over a month. |

Slamfire;
There is a long thread on another site about that picture, I have seen the picture, it does not look as though it is a hog of more than 200lbs, and , not anything close to 1000. The geeks on the site all agree it is digital fakery, and , no one from the area believes the supposed shooter as far as they can throw a 1000 lb hog underhand. Don ;D |
RE: are wild hogs considered big game??
All I know is that they are the only animal that I have hunted that have made me climb a tree.

RE: are wild hogs considered big game??
Just came back from bow hunting Russian boar. They are big game in my opinion. Later in the morning I saw a 170 lbs sow with piglets fighting with 250 lbs male and lets just say I opted to bring the rifle out in the afternoon. When they move through the bush in packs they kinda look of those big chow dogs. LOL
