i have a late season is it to late to call elk

I would just cow call to try to locate the elk. You won't get much done this late with to much calling. It will make the elk more spooky if you are calling to much. Just try to spot and stalk this late. But cow call a little bit, soft light ones and see where that gets you.

Late season calling can still be effective but like dwalts said don't overcall. Your best bet would be to find a trail that the elk have been using very heavily and sit and wait it out. Hard to do in the late season sometimes but they seem to be easier to pattern around my area in the late season. Hope this helps.
