I myself would have to say a .22 singal shot for one reason "all the amo you can carry'' I can carry alot more .22 bullets then anything else.

i would take my 300 win mag you take just any thing with that. Of coarse you would have to take head shot on birds and that.

Actually, you're all gonna die, except bigbass! Perhaps you remember from the history books they had these natives with scalping knives running all over the west in 1810?

I will take an M14, thank you very much. That caliber will handle any big game on the map and still give me some volume firepower when the "neighbors" come calling.
