12 Preference Points for Elk

I am sitting on 12 preference points for elk in Colorado and would really like a 340+ bull. Any ideas for areas to apply for next year?

I dont know for sure about colo, but I do know that Utah has some monsters along the colo border and Arizona has big uns also so I would make an educated guess and say that any areas bordering these would be great.

I'd look at Units #1, 2, 201, or even #76!

If you apply for a bow tag you may have enough points to draw in 1, 2 or 201, but as a non resident, 12 points probably won't draw you a muzzleloader or rifle tag... 61 or 76 would be much more realistic choices...Even then, a 340 bull is a monster in Colorado for any but the coveted northwest units...
