I am counting the days down here in the Interior of Alaska,,,April 1st is registration day and then we will start hunting on the 15th.....God Bless America!

getting close caveman! We'll be down after caribou during the last two weeks of April and hopefully we'll get on an early rising grizzly. We head to Juneau on the 3rd of May for a week+ of blackies on the coast, and back up north for the last 10 days of May after grizzers again.

Did you put your 2 cents in on the interior bear baiting issue? I talked with Fish and Game in Fairbanks regarding the current status of that proposal, and it sounded like they are against it, and they plan to use statistics from the Anchorage area of nuicanse bears and compare it to Fairbanks.

hi guys. this will be my first season black bear hunting. man i am so looking forward to it. i found a nice spot a little north of me that sports some mammoth bruin. cant wait to go meet 'em. ABM what is this issue your talking about on interior baiting? lamar.

Good luck you guys. Here in NY we have to wait for mid September. When you get one - stories would be appreciated.
