It helps to read the rules of the contest in order to offer up informed commentary.
The weights are pounds of packaged meat NOT live weight.
Live weight would likely be around 275 to 300, not an uncommon black bear weight IMHO.

Are you sure this is how y'all wanna get started off in these here parts, stranger?
